After a few minutes the group arrived at the island.  To Pandora’s surprise, her mother was wrong.  On the beach, around a fire, she could see a small group of the reptile people.  Their shovels stuck out from the sand around them.      One of the sea lions began to whelp and Pandora thought it would alert the reptiles, but the wind was loud enough to muffle their sounds.  Pandora noticed that the sea lions were moving in a new direction.  She decided to follow them, knowing that they probably had the best knowledge of the island.  Swimming away from the servants, Pandora understood that her mother was right.  The sea lions were going to lead her to the crocodile priest alone and she would not have to fight the servants at all.  That relaxed her a bit and she became more confident in rescuing Paige.
