“Give me the sword.”
Pandora was hesitant of fighting without her sword. She had done so before but was reluctant to fight in front of Paige without it.
“What’s wrong? You can’t swim with the sword. The silver coins are all you need.”
Pandora was about to tell her mother she was scared, but instead handed the sword over. They walked over to the edge of the cliff. The winds were strong and blew their hair about. Drew strapped the rubber bag across Pandora’s chest and under her arm. In the distance they could see a small island.
“There is no turning back now. Don’t be afraid. You will not be alone.”
Pandora kissed her mother on the cheek and dove off the cliff.
